Exhelo ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our breathing exercises application.
In short: Your breathing practice data stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or share your personal information.
Information We Do NOT Collect
Exhelo does not collect:
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
- Location data
- Contact lists or address books
- Photos, videos, or files from your device
- Financial or payment information
- Health data beyond what you create within the app
Information Stored Locally
Exhelo stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Your breathing session history (duration, patterns used, timestamps)
- Custom breathing patterns you create
- App preferences (theme, sound settings, reminder schedules)
- Practice streaks and statistics
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server. If you uninstall the app, this data is deleted.
Analytics and Crash Reporting
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to:
- Understand general app usage patterns (which features are popular)
- Identify and fix crashes and bugs
- Improve app performance and user experience
This data is collected anonymously and cannot be used to identify you personally. It includes information such as:
- Device type and operating system version
- App version
- General usage statistics (session counts, feature usage)
- Crash logs and error reports

User Feedback
If you choose to submit feedback through the app, the following information is sent to our secure Firebase Firestore database:
- Your feedback message
- Device model and Android version (to help troubleshoot issues)
- App version
- Timestamp of submission
This information is used solely to improve the app and respond to issues. We do not collect your email or any identifying information unless you voluntarily include it in your feedback message.
Third-Party Services
Exhelo uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Analytics - For anonymous usage analytics (Firebase Privacy)
- Firebase Crashlytics - For crash reporting and stability monitoring
- Firebase Firestore - For storing user feedback (only when you submit feedback)
Children's Privacy
Exhelo is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.
Data Security
Since your practice data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's security settings. We recommend:
- Using a screen lock on your device
- Keeping your device's operating system updated
- Using Android's backup features if you want to preserve your data
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete your data - Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data
- Opt out of analytics - You can disable analytics in your device's Google settings
- Request information - Contact us to ask about what data we may have
